Allied Health & Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

Paramedic (2 year/Accelerated Hybrid) Register by: 6/28/2024
The paramedic training program aims to equip aspiring paramedics with proficiency across cognitive, pyschomotor, and affective learning domains. Aligned with CoAEMSP standards, we foster competent and compassionate professionals.

Phlebotomy Technician Register by: 11/21/2024
Students will learn the methods for drawing blood for laboratory testing. Graduates will be prepared for an entry-level position as a phlebotomist/venipuncture technician. The curriculum is designed to prepared students to take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exams for Phlebotomy.

Medical Billing & Coding Register by: 8/26/2024
The Medical Billing and Coding program offers a robust introduction to one of the fastest-growing fields in healthcare, providing the flexibility to work in various healthcare settings. Students engage in both theoretical classroom instruction and practical clinical experiences via synchronous Zoom classes, preparing them for national certification and entry-level employment in the healthcare industry.

Veterinary Assistant Register by: 12/20/2024
Graduates will be prepared to work in an entry-level position in an animal care facility and/or be preprared to continue training to earn an AA degree as a Veterinary Technician. Instruction for this program is provided by a licensed Veterinary Technician and/or licensed Veterinarian.

Skilled Trades
Diesel Mechanic Register by: 1/6/2025
Students will be trained to complete a variety of maintenance and repair services including suspension and steering, electrical systems, and engine rebuilds with an emphasis in preventative maintenance procedures and shop safety. Graduates have the opportunity to take the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) entry-level students certification exam: Inspection, Maintenance and Minor Repair.

Intro to Construction Trades Register by: 8/19/2024
This program equips students for entry-level roles in construction with foundational training in safety, tool use, construction math, and more. It also covers construction drawings, rigging, and employability skills, laying the groundwork for a successful career. Graduates can earn OSHA 10 Certification and NCCER Core and Construction Site Safety credentials, enhancing their employment prospects.

NEW! Intro to Culinary Arts: Kitchen Cook Register by: TBD
This brand NEW program provides students with the necessary skills for entry level positions in restaurants, resorts, hotels, and catering kitchen operations. Students will be provided with foundational skills for which all cooks and chefs can build upon.

Manual & CNC Machining Register by: 9/2/2024
NEW! Marine Technician Register by: 11/11/2024
This brand NEW entry-level program provides a comprehensive introduction to marine systems, essential for industry success. Covering topics from shop safety and internal combustion theory to marine electrical systems and both outboard and inboard engines. Additional training includes drive systems, boat trailers, marine electronics and plumbing, fully preparing students for various marine industry roles.

Welding Register by: 8/19/2024
This training program is designed to provide students with classroom, hands-on experience in a welding shop, and independent computer-based training (CBT), individuals will be prepared to work in the welding insdustry and earn certification from the American Welding Society (AWS).

Mountaintop Truck Driving Institute
Commercial Drivers License Class A Register by: Open Enrollment
Our professional truck driving program prepares students for entry-level positions in truck driving through topics like pre-trip inspection, yard skills, and over-the-road training. It includes instruction in map reading and log books. Upon completion, students will test at the local DMV to obtain their Class A license.

Commercial Drivers License Class B Register by: Open Enrollment
This course prepares students to earn a Class B CDL, qualifying them to drive vehicles like cement and delivery trucks. Training covers pre-trip inspections, yard skills, over-the-road driving, and basics of map reading and log books. Successful completion leads to a DOT certification and a Class B license, allowing operation of vehicles weighing over 26,001 pounds and towing vehicles not exceeding 10,000 pounds GVWR.
